Compared with the solid wood floorboard, the maintenance of the multi-layer solid wood is much simple. In daily use and maintenance, the following principles shall be observed:

1. Keep the floorboard dry and clean; do not scrub it with wet mop or alkali or soap water for fear the luster and paint membrane of the floorboard would be impaired. If the indoor air is too dry, the wetter mop, a basis of water placed on the heating fins or the humidifier shall be adopted to improve the indoor humidity.

2. Keep the floorboard off from bright sunlight as much as possible for fear it would crack and age fast in the exposure of ultraviolet radiation for a long time.

3. If part of the floorboard surface becomes stained, relevant cleaning measures must be taken promptly. For the oil stain on its surface, the duster cloth dipped with warm water and little dose of washing powder shall be adopted to clean it up. The stain of medicine or paint shall be removed before they penetrate into the surface layer of floorboard.

3. Keep the floorboard off from contact with water, especially hot water, as much as possible. Hot water drops on the floorboard shall be cleaned up instantly.

4. It is advisable that wax polishing be applied to the floorboard once in three months. Before the wax polishing, the stains on floorboard surface shall be cleansed completely. Wax polishing is optional. However, it is better to do so as it would maintain the luster and prolong the service life of floorboard.

5. Avoid the scratch of floorboard surface with sharp items. Do not litter cigarette ends or place hot items on its surface directly; avoid as much as possible dragging heavy furniture along floorboard surface.
